Overview

Roll forming produces strong, lightweight open and closed sections for a vehicle body. Our catalogue includes reinforcements for floors, bonnets, dashboards, back panels and pillars. It also covers front and rear bumpers, side sills, cross members, crash channels, intrusion panels and IP (instrument panel) members.

These sections have been produced for utility vehicles, light and heavy commercial vehicles and coaches.

How it is made

These profiles are cold roll formed. A metal strip passes through a series of roll stations, and each station bends it progressively until the strip reaches the required cross-section at room temperature. Learn about our manufacturing capabilities.

Which materials can you roll form?

We roll form CR and HR steels in grades D, DD, EDD, HSLA, GA, and austenitic stainless steel (301–304), from 0.5 – 8.0 mm thick and 10 – 1,800 mm wide.
