Pioneers in roll forming engineering

Star Auto Industries Pvt. Ltd. (SAIPL) is a Mumbai-based company, established in 1978. We are a pioneer and leader in the roll forming industry, manufacturing both custom-designed machines and sheet metal components. Our record of quality manufacturing spans 48 years, and customers know us for trust and reliability.

From state-of-the-art plants in Mumbai, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand), Sanand, Dharwad and Hosur, we run 27 roll forming mills. They form strip from 0.5 – 8.0 mm thick and 10 – 1,800 mm wide.

How it works

The cold roll forming process

Strip feed. Metal strip of the required width and thickness is fed into the line.
Progressive forming. Pairs of contoured rolls at each station bend the strip a little further.
Final profile. The strip reaches its finished cross-section at room temperature, uniform along its length.
Cut to length. Profiles are cut to the length the application needs.
