Star Auto Industries Pvt. Ltd. (SAIPL) is a Mumbai-based company, established in 1978. It is a pioneer and leader in the roll forming industry, manufacturing both custom-designed machines and sheet metal components. Our record of quality manufacturing processes spans the last 48 years, and the company has become a byword for trust and reliability among its customers.

With state-of-the-art manufacturing units in Mumbai, Uttarakhand, Dharwad, Sanand and Hosur, SAIPL has attained a leadership position in roll forming in India. Roll forming has revolutionised the manufacture of intricate sheet metal components for many industries, and SAIPL continues to raise customer expectations through constant innovation in design and engineering.

Our pioneering role since 1978 has made SAIPL an industry leader. Our core competency is the design and manufacture of machines. We have built machines of many capacities, each tailor-made to the customer's specifications for mass production.

What we make

We manufacture specialised automotive components and industrial metal products. Our specialisations are sheet metal forming, roll formed metal profiles and customised industrial machinery, with particular expertise in cold roll formed components.

For passenger and commercial vehicles we make and supply parts such as door sashes and glass guide channels. We also serve the rail and metro, air-conditioning, construction, and electrical and electronics industries. We are a business-to-business supplier: we make components for other manufacturers, not for retail customers.
