Overview

Rain channels, drip rails and drip mouldings run along a vehicle's roof line and door openings. They carry water away from the door seals and glass, and on many vehicles they are also a visible styling line.

We have roll formed rain channels and drip profiles for front, side, rear and corner positions. The range also includes roof troughs, water drain channels, retainers and weather strip beading.

How it is made

These profiles are cold roll formed. A metal strip passes through a series of roll stations, and each station bends it progressively until the strip reaches the required cross-section at room temperature. Learn about our manufacturing capabilities.

Which materials can you roll form?

We roll form CR and HR steels in grades D, DD, EDD, HSLA, GA, and austenitic stainless steel (301–304), from 0.5 – 8.0 mm thick and 10 – 1,800 mm wide.
